Hello, I’m Pastor Jordan Wells. I am a candidate for Duval County School Board District 4  . My experience spans over tens years in business and education. I’ve worked for both large and small schools across the state of Florida, including running my own non profit organization and being heavily involved in serving our community. This experience equips me with skills essential for leadership on the school board.

Currently, our district faces several challenges.

These challenges include decreasing student numbers and supporting a new superintendent.  My role as your advocate will involve facilitating open communication channels between the superintendent, the school board, and the parents who are the most important assets in our children future.

Focusing on student student discipline which includes bullying and school violence problems that face teachers and students.is also a priority for me. Also focusing on trade programs across our schools that will insure that our students are ready for a competitive job market.  I am dedicated to advocating for programs that foster more than just academic achievement. These programs will support the overall well-being of our students. This includes providing mental health resources  which will be a focus of our campaign and offering a range of extracurricular activities.

My campaign is not driven by a political agenda like democrat or republican. It is rooted in my experience as a pastor, teacher and as a parent of four children. My daughter was almost raped in one of our schools and nothing was done about it. We will make sure parents feel safe as they allow us to serve their children.
